Africa November 2009
The dream of a lifetime...over 2 weeks in South Africa, all in Kruger Park, a game reserve of over 9 million acres. During that time we travelled close to 1400 Kilometers, and saw more animals that I believed possible. We traveled with a company called wild4 photography, a small company owned by a professional photographer. There are only three photographers and one non-photographer allowed in his photo safaris, all in a specially equipped vehicle. Each day started at 5:30 AM, and we returned to camp at 6:30 each evening. Being a photographer himself, Stu (the owner) knew where to park for the best light, knew he animals to anticipate movement and the experience was beyond anything I anticipated.
